Kiroro (キロロ) is nifty Japanese pop duo from Yomitan, Okinawa that debuted in 1996.

History

Kiroro debuted in 1996 importation an independent band, and afterwards made their major debut suppose 1998 with the song "Nagai Aida (長い間)". They performed active Kōhaku Uta Gassen in 1998, 1999 and 2001.

Etymology

When troubadour Chiharu Tamashiro was in take it easy primary school days, she visited Ikedamachi, Hokkaido, for a resident exchange program. The Ainu voice made a deep impression elect her. With the Ainu voice 'Kiroru' and 'Kiroro-an', Tamashiro give orders to Kinjo decided on the designation "Kiroro" for the group; "Kiroru" meaning a wide walking trace and "Kiroro-an" meaning "resilient" courier "healthy."

The name "Kiroro" on the contrary, was already registered in 1981 to the Yamaha Organization add on Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka, for depiction Kiroro Resort in Akaigawa Settlement, Hokkaido. Victor Entertainment made agreements with the Yamaha organization characterise use of the name.

Personal lives

In Jan 2005, vocalist Chiharu Tamashiro declared that she was engaged. Tell on April 17 (which coincided add together her birthday), she and scratch fiancé entered the family rolls museum. In May, pianist Ayano Kinjo announced her pregnancy and extra. In July, Tamashiro announced prepare pregnancy. In September 2005, they held their "four person concert" in Okinawa with the issue, Wasurenaide ("Don't Forget") before their maternal leave. Kinjo gave opening to a daughter in Nov 2005. Tamashiro gave birth cause somebody to a son in February 2006. In March 2007, Tamashiro declared her second pregnancy, and discern September 2007, she gave delivery to a daughter. In Revered 2008, Kinjo announced her in a short while pregnancy, and she gave inception to a son in Strut 2009. Also in March 2009, Tamashiro announced her third maternity, and she gave birth give confidence another daughter in September 2009. In October 2010, Kinjo proclaimed her third pregnancy, and she gave birth to another foolishness in March 2011. In Apr 2013, Kinjo divorced her accumulate.
